If a piece has been framed, it has been in a few galleries and due to it being moved a lot, frames are not guaranteed to be in pristine condition.
Frames may have some dings. You are paying for the art and not the frame.

I use the best archival pens (Micron, Uni-ball), watercolor paints ( M. Graham, Schmincke Aquarell & Daniel Smith ) and archival papers ( Arches, Fabriano Artistico ).

If taken care of properly, your piece of art will last a lifetime.
